No nasties! Free from common irritants it contains no artificial sweeteners, artificial colours, aluminium, parabens, pthalates, propylene glycol, formaldehyde, lanolin, mineral oil, petrolatum, silicone, sulfates, synthetic chemicals, triclosan and no taste-bud numbing chemicals.

INGREDIENTS

Camellia Oil
A time-honored beauty secret Camellia Oil is well known for its highly restorative and rejuvenating effects. It is a precious oil, rapidly absorbed and penetrating to the deepest layers of skin, enhancing natural cell growth and bounce.

Camellia Oil is rich in nourishing anti-aging polyphenol antioxidants and moisturizers. It is non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores), anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, contains vitamins A, B and E as well as numerous beneficial minerals and also possesses the active constituent “squalene”. It is a transdermal carrier of cell rebuilding nutrients and bioactive compounds (collagen and elastin) into the skin repairing damage caused by dryness, sun exposure and aging.

Rice Bran Oil
Also a traditional, anti-aging secret, brimming with wonderful deep-moisturizing fatty acids, powerful antioxidants, vitamins E and B that improve skin’s ability to hold onto hydration, elasticity and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is a significant source of Tocotrienol, as well as an anti-aging antioxidant called Gamma-oryzanol. It also contains the natural organic compound “squalane” that helps with the synthesis of cholesterol and vitamin D in the human body, and is also naturally produced by human skin cells. Replenishing supply of this natural compound supports skin’s natural regeneration leading to younger, fresher, softer skin.

Rice Bran oil has a slight anti-melanin property that helps protect from sun and brighten skin, helping to fade dark spots and smoothe skin tone.
It’s also often recommended as an alternative to lanolin for helping soothe irritable skin. Rice Bran Oil is light, penetrates easily and is non-comedogenic ie. it doesn’t clog pores.

Shea butter
Helps with many skin conditions, from blemishes and wrinkles to dermatitis. It is deeply moisturizing and hydrating, has also been shown to be a significant source of anti-inflammatory compounds and to boost collagen production. Shea is rich in stearic and oleic acids, vitamins A & E, has been shown to diminish various signs of aging, to boost collagen production, to help prevent windburn and to have an SPF of about 6.

Rice Bran Wax
Rice Bran Wax is a certified organic vegetable wax that helps with skin conditioning, smoothing and protecting. It's well loved for it's "non sticky, non tacky" feeling on the lips and its superior spreadability and silkiness and inhibits syneresis (the appearance of liquid droplets on the stick's surface after exposure to elevated temperatures).

Candelilla Wax:
A multifunctional complex of natural wax esters Candelilla helps with skin conditioning and protection. Refined, filtered twice.

100% Pure Organic Australian Beeswax (not in vegan option)
Beeswax “locks in” moisture, helps protect and repair rough, dry, chapped skin. It is non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores). It has also been shown to relieve inflammation, is an excellent skin softener and emollient.

Scent/Flavour
Oakbank Organics' special 'Chai' blend of pure, whole, essential oils includes Clove, Lime, Cardamom, Cinnamon and Rosemary essential oils.

Essential oils in this product contain naturally occurring eugenol, cinnamide acetate, limonene, linalool.

Please note: Eugenol in clove oil and coumarin in cinnamon have been known to interact with blood thinning medications. Please consult your healthcare practitioner if pregnant, nursing or being treated for ongoing health issues prior to application of essential oils.

SUGGESTED USAGE
Apply liberally to keep lips nourished and hydrated.

DIRECTIONS
If you've chosen a push-up eco tube then push it up gently from the bottom so that the balm slides out only a little way (several millimeters) for application to your lips.

There is sufficient room inside the eco tube lid to leave the balm raised a little for your next application. This saves having to push it down each time. If it gets too soft, pop it in the fridge.
If you've chosen an eco balm pot then simply use a finger to apply to your lips
